Mothers & More
http://www.mothersandmore.org This is an international
not-for-profit organization supporting women who are at
home with their children. For members, there is a
national newsletter and publications. Check the website
for local chapters. The chapters provide meetings,
support, speakers, and more.
Mothers at Home
www.familyandhome.org This group advocates for
stay-at-home moms. They offer a monthly publication,
Welcome Home, as well as free articles on their
website. Memberships are available.
At Home Mothers
www.athomemothers.com There are several free links
to parenting information from this website. This group
publishes a quarterly At-Home Mother magazine for
its members. Membership is $18.00 a year and provides
several benefits.
National Center of Fathering

This group aims to improve the well being of children by
equipping men to be more effectively involved in the
lives of children. They offer on-line training, tips,
and seminars.
The Fathers Network

fathers and their families with special health care
needs and developmental disabilities, this website has
free resources.
Parent Soup

An award winning site, Parent Soup provides information
on activities, crafts, childcare, step parenting,
siblings, working moms, and much more. Membership is not
required for most resources.
The Baby Center

You can enroll free for information on pregnancy through
toddler hood. Recommended for parents with children 0-2
years, this website has a variety of resources.
Safety and Health:
Children’s Hospital of Orange
County (CHOC)
www.choc.org CHOC offers many classes and institutes
throughout the year on health issues for all members of
the family. Articles and other resources are also
available. CHOC is concerned with child passenger
safety. For free classes on how to properly install your

American Academy of Pediatrics

website provides a parenting corner, health topics,
bookstore, professional and educational resources, and
more.
Consumer Product Safety Commission

site lists product recalls including toys and child
items such as furniture. This is a website to bookmark
and to check often.
